𝟏. 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 Don't expect money if you don't have a job, a skill or a business that people can pay you for. Money doesn't fall from heaven into your bank account. The Financial provision you prayed about in church is already in someone's pocket but they wouldn't give it to you unless you give them in return. What's your craft? "Let him that does not work, not eat" It's not a curse, it's a principle of life. 𝟐. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 How good are you at your craft? Below average? Average or very good? If 5 of your fellow craft men including you stands before 100 customers and your works are reviewed, how many of those 100 customers will choose to work with you based on the quality of services you render? It's not enough to be a forex trader, you have to be a profitable forex trader. It's not enough to display that Certificate that says you're a copywriter... Can you really write converting copies? "Whatever thine hand findeth to do, do it well." Nobody gets to the professional level of his field in 1 day but you must ensure that you get better on a daily basis. Become the "go to" person in your field 𝟑. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 A story was told of a man who walked into a barber's shop to have a hair cut. He was given a very warm reception, his hair was washed and a cup of coffee was served. Wow... The man thought, I love this kind of thing. No barber has ever treated me like this, this will be my permanent barbing salon. Unfortunately, the next time he visited the salon, none of those things were done for him The man kept wondering what the problem was... He decided to check back again and still no body sent him. They just gave him normal hair cut and that was all. The man was disappointed and never went back there again. Funny story right.. some of you may even say "na hair im wan cut abi na coffee im wan drink?" But that's how customers are... Treat them like the king you treated them on the first day so that they can buy from you again in the coming days. If your brand is known for promptness or neatness or quality... Be consistent with it Not that today you will bake fine cake for us, then after you've won our heart, you will bake something else for us that we don't understand. 😞 Even if you're at a job, be so good that your employers will fear loosing you. have you seen a man who is diligent in his business? Such man will stand before KINGS and not mere men 𝟒. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 A lot of business owners are very good with their craft but... Why should your customer add a but? Competence and consistency will take you to the top but only character will sustain you there. Listen to this, there are no bad businesses, there are only bad business people. There's this hairstylist that makes good hair but she will talk on your head oooo with her friends Hair that is supposed to take 2 hours to finish, she will use 5 hours 🤦🏼♀️ For someone like me that values my time a lot and hate gossips, I ran away from her as fast as I could. She lost a customer and I know I'm not the only one. I know Africans will say "if she goes, God will bring another one". God is busy bringing customers for you and you are busy chasing them with bad character... Okay lets see how long you'll be in business. Build your character. I can't over emphasize this point. The business will grow only to the degree that the business owner grows. Tomorrow when I become an employer of labour if I have a staff on my pay roll who is very good at what he/she does but has a bad character, I will write your sack letter and keep it in my bag because I know you are still useful to my firm. But if after warning you and you don't change, the moment I find a replacement, I'm handing you that letter. Go home and learn character 𝟓. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐂: 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰💰💰💰 Now we can talk about the money. I'm not talking about about the peanut that a customer paid once and never returned because of the poor quality of what you delivered. I'm talking about the kind of cash flow where your customers keep coming over and over again to patronise you and even telling their friends about your business. People gather in a meeting of authority and they ask "who can do this job very well for us" and your name is being mentioned because you have built credibility with the first 4 C's Now enter into your rest and enjoy the reward of Hard work!
